Committee on Promotion of Breastfeeding

A. Terms of Reference

1. To advise the Government on strategies and action plans to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding as the norm for infant and young child feeding in Hong Kong;
2. To advise the Government on measures to encourage different sectors in the community to put in place breastfeeding friendly facilities and measures; and
3. To oversee the planning and monitor the implementation of programmes, services or initiatives to protect, promote and support breastfeeding.
