SHWF welcomes appointment of chief executive of Hospital Authority

The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr York Chow, welcomed the appointment by the Hospital Authority (HA) today (January 13) of Mr Shane Solomon as Chief Executive.

Congratulating Mr Solomon on his appointment, Dr Chow said, "we heartily look forward to the continuation of the good working relationship with the Hospital Authority under the leadership of Mr Solomon."

"With his background and experience, I am confident that Mr Solomon will bring new dimensions and prospective to the Special Administrative Region's public hospital services system."

"We will work hand in hand with the HA chairman and the newly appointed Chief Executive to meet challenges ahead," Dr Chow said.
