HKSARG provides support to Dr Margaret Chan in election campaign for Director-General of WHO

In response to media enquiries, a spokesman for the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau said today (August 16) that Ms Estrella Cheung, Senior Administrative Officer, will be attached to the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Geneva with effect from August 18, 2006 to take on a short-term assignment to provide administrative and logistics support to Dr Margaret Chan in her election campaign for the post of Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The assignment will end upon the completion of the election of the Director-General of WHO.
