SHWF to attend tripartite senior health officials' meeting in Macao

The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr York Chow, will lead a delegation to Macao today (November 5) to attend the Fifth Joint Meeting of Senior Health Officials of the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao which will be opened tomorrow (November 6).

Members of the Hong Kong delegation include Acting Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Mr Cheuk Wing-hing; Acting Director of Health, Dr Leung Pak-yin; Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation, Mrs Stella Hung; Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene, Mr Eddy Chan; Controller, Centre for Food Safety, Dr Mak Sin-ping; as well as Hospital Authority's Director (Professional Services and Medical Development), Dr Vivian Wong; and Director (Professional Services and Operations), Dr Cheung Wai-lun.

Dr Chow will return to Hong Kong on Monday night (November 6).
