The following is issued on behalf of the International Festival of Inclusive Arts:

The Festival Finale of the International Festival of Inclusive Arts features outstanding artists with and without disabilities from Mainland China, Russia and Hong Kong, bringing both adults and children a night of fun and beauty.

The Festival Finale will be held on December 10 at 7.30pm at the Auditorium of Kwai Tsing Theatre. Local "Dancing Heart Troupe" of St James' Settlement Rehabilitation Services and DancingAndy Creative Workshop will jointly stage a new modern dance that presents the concept of social inclusion in "Smiling Heart". Wong Wing-kam, Chosen Power, together with puppeteers with different abilities will stage the innovative performance with shadows interpreting paintings based on the album of famous painter Liu Tung-mui in "Trajectories".

In "Fun for All", internationally renowned Russian deaf theatre group, Toys Theatre will mix deaf theatre, dance, clown performance and drama to tell stories with music and body movements. The audience will not only sit back and enjoy the performance but also become a part of it. The fun certainly extends beyond the stage!

World Disabled People's Achievement Fair award holder China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe will perform the "Variety Show of Beauty", bringing the Festival Finale to a close and giving viewers an unforgettable experience of inclusive arts performances.

Organised by the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau and the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, the International Festival of Inclusive Arts will be held from December 2 to 10. Through diverse programmes like performances, exhibitions, a symposium, workshops and a carnival, the festival aims at providing an opportunity for participation in arts by people with and without disabilities, and promoting an inclusive society.

Tickets at $80 per person are available at all URBTIX outlets. Discount tickets at $40 per person are available to senior citizens, people with disabilities and one minder each, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients. Wheelchair seats are provided.
