PSHWF to meet AQSIQ officials in Beijing

The Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Mrs Carrie Yau, will leave for Beijing on Monday (November 27). She will meet officials of the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on Tuesday (November 28) to discuss food safety issues, including Mainland eggs for supply to Hong Kong.

Joining Mrs Yau to Beijing will be the Controller of the Centre for Food Safety, Dr Mak Sin-ping.

Mrs Yau will return to Hong Kong in the evening of November 28.
