SHWF to meet health officials in Beijing

The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr York Chow, will leave for Beijing tomorrow (December 12) for a meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of Health.

This is one of the regular meetings between the two sides to enhance understanding and exchange views on issues of mutual concern and to explore areas of cooperation.

Joining Dr Chow on the visit will be the Director of Health, Dr Lam Ping-yan; the Chief Executive of the Hospital Authority, Mr Shane Solomon; and Deputy Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Mr Patrick Nip.

Dr Chow will return to Hong Kong on Tuesday night (December 12).
