Breast Cancer Screening

1. Educate all women on breast awareness, symptoms, signs and risk factors of breast cancer, and importance of regular breast cancer screening1 A
2. Offer breast cancer screening to asymptomatic women at2, 3:
  • High risk starting at age 35 or 10 years prior to the age at diagnosis of the youngest affected relative (whichever is earlier), but not younger than age 30, annually
  • Moderate risk, biennially
  • Increased risk between age 44-69, biennially
